well i went ahead and pierced one so far. I dont think it is infected right now but i understand there is a good chance that it will be. Some people and sites i read say that you have to take the earring out and get medical attention or w/e and some people/sites say that you should leave the earring in or you could seal in an internal infection causing more problems. So if it gets infected what are you supposed to do?

Treat it like any other infected wound.

You should be keeping it clean with alcohol or peroxide.

You can also use anti bacterial neosporin.

Take it out leave it in. I don't know what to say. none of mine ever go infected.

I would if mildly infected leave them in seriously infected take it out, but that is just what I would do, I don't know if that is "right", or not.

When I got my ear pierced, I cleaned my ear once, and that's it. It never got infected (FXCK YEAH P-KING).
