OK lately i have been doing 225 and 315 on squat as many times as i can 1 day a week the, the goal here is to increase one rep a week now on 225 i started out only could do 4 then next week did 5 and the next week i did 7 now doing this i guess will increase ur max if its still low enough in reps but since ive been donig this my max has went up about 30 pounds in 1 and half months i also have a heavier day as off lately i went from 260 to 275 to 295 the 30 pounds is in there at 1 .5 months just thought id share this and o ya since ive been doing the squat my max jumped alot not exatcly sure how much as i didnt really chart it as much

Well this is sorta alot off topic but i remember seeing a picture on here with some guy having water jugs as weight on his bench too.. man that makes me appreciate things like i have had weights in my house since as long as i can remember i didnt take advantage until know. I mean if i need more weight then is down there my dad will go buy it so im mad at myself for when people are that determined to workout and i wasnt... That shows alot of determination whoever it was keep it up

I remember reading that thread too, and seeing the pictures- While that guy's heart was in the right place, those water bottles weren't. I said on that thread that it could be dangerous, and I'll say it again here, in case anyone was thinking about doing the same thing- Proper form is essential when it comes to lifting for numerous reasons, but the most important one is safety. With water bottles, or any other form of weight hanging from your bar while lifting, you're bound to get some sway movement in the bar, which means bad form. Bad form means possible injuries, so please don't try that at home. Smile

No noo look before u start lifting just warm up a lil first and put 225 up there and just do it as many as u can 1 time
then next week ur shooting for one more than that now im at 12 im wondering wat my max on bench is now
