Im sure your parents are happy that you are spending it on food rather than drugs, alcohol and other bad stuff. Unless money is tight in your family, enjoy it and spend it responsbily and on healthy stuff.

Yeah i pay for all my extra food myself. $20 every 2 days is quite expensive, i manage to buy a weeks worth of food for 5000 calories a day at $45 a WEEK.

Don't feel guilty. You're 15. You'd eat much more than anyone else anyway. When I was that age, my parents accused me of having a gallon of milk a day habit! Among everything else that I devoured. Nothing was safe in the kitchen (and I wasn't bodybuilding at all!). It's just part of growing up. At least you have a purpose!

I think I would feel guilty if I didn't pay for my own food. I'm 16 and am working full time until summer ends, and then I will get a part time job for after school. My parents started makeing me pay for anything "extra"(shoes clothes excess food protein) I wanted when I turned 15. $20 dollars every other day is a lot though you should lookf or bargains.

No point being there? Take it from someone who though the same way- There's a point. Most of the stuff you learn there is totally pointless, but if you leave, it's a tough road back- Me, I finished high school, and instead of going to college (I was sick of school too, thought I could do okay without it-) joined the army. Which was fine, had a great time, but again learned absolutely nothing useful when it comes to getting a nice job. I was 24 when I finally got back into school for engineering, and let me tell you- When the rest of your friends are already done with college, and making enough money to hang out without you- You're broke because you're paying for school, and never have time because you're working and going to school- Well, it sucks. Add to that all the years you could have been making more money, and it really sucks. If I had gotten serious about lifting in my early twenties, there's no way I would have been able to afford a bodybuilding diet. Your dad knows what he's talking about.
