I actually agree with you Stallone... I think not many people take powerlifting seriously. However, there's not really a rule I could create for this issue.
"Don't make fat comments about powerlifter's or you will be banned?"
"Don't say powerlifting is for slobs or you'll be banned?"
The thing is, a lot of people are ignorant when it comes to something like powerlifting. Powerlifting is a small niche in bodybuilding so people don't fully understand it.
The only reason we disallow topics like sexual orientation and politics is because those have almost always lead to major arguments in the past and caused a lot of good members to leave over things un-related to bodybuilding. The only thing similar I could do with powerlifting is to ban the discussion of it... but that's kind of pointless.
As long as people don't personally attack you there's nothing I can do. While I don't agree with their thinking, you just have to remember that they're ignorant when it comes to powerlifting.
Here's an idea though. Maybe you can find an article on why powerlifting is looked down upon and why it shouldn't be this way. I can sticky the article for you and whenever a member makes a dumb comment about powerlifting is for lazy slobs you can point them in the direction of the article. It would be nice if the article listed commom mis-beleifs about powerlifting (that way if the poster listed one of them, your article takes care of proving their post incorrect).
smoundzou said it right above... the people that put it down are usually little kids that don't know anything about bodybuilding (thinking NO-Xplode will get them results 4X faster and the squat rack is for looking good doing standing BB curls.)
Edit: I just wanted to add, I do take you seriously Stallone. And I know of a couple other members that also respect what you say when it comes to lifting. I'm sure a lot of us here on DB respect you, but I'm just telling you I've personally read things where people have stated you are a very knowledgeable person.
