ok, here's my morning schedule for eating and lifting: 4:10-4:15am: wake up 4:20am: take 2 scoops of NO Explode with 1 tsp of Body Fortress Creatine and 1 tsp of Body Fortress Glutamine all in two tall glasses of water. 5:00am: Lift 6:40am: Get home, start boiling eggs and do ab routine. 7:10-7:15: Drink IDS Smart Gainer Protein shake with skim milk (65g protein) 9:30am: 6 hard boiled egg whites. .... .... .... .... I then eat every hour on the hour, i already have another thread why my diet actually consists of. But I'm just wondering what you guys think of my timing, because i'm reading more and more that timing is a big part of a body building diet. What do you think? Should i change anything?

This is just my opinion but i think every hour on the hour is a tad bit much.

yeah, but every meal i eat is only about 20g-30g(max) of protein, except for my protein shake after lifting and my can of chicken (50g) at around 5:00 for dinner. It still adds up to about 275g-300g protein, which is around my goal of 1g-1.5g protein per pound of body weight per day....Unless i'm totally wrong and i am in fact eating WAY too much... but how's the timing of it? I'm just trying to wrap my head around how the whole timing thing works....is my schedule any good?

I'll let you in on a little secret that i learned a while back on this board. We are to obsessed with the little things. As far as the timing, with the exception of 2 meals, breakfast and postworkout, i wouldn't worry about timing to much. As long as you're eating something every 2-3 hours you'll be fine. Also, what do your other macro-nutrient intakes look like?(carbs and fat) One more question, why on God's green earth do you get up so early? lol just wondering i have to get up at five but that's because of work

well i get most of my carbs from the protein shake with skim milk in the morning, and i eat pb sandwich with lots of low fat/ all nautral pb on pumpernickel bread... i also make my own home made protein bars out of 1 scoop of protein mix, powdered milk, 1 serving of all natural pb, no salt added peanuts, 1 serving of fibersure, and 1 tsp of Body Fortress Creatine and Glutamine... also, i try to eat real food, just whatever meat based meal that i can try to clean up and take/squeeze the fat off of that my parents make for dinner, and occasionally whatever my girlfriend's parents make on weekends. And i usually cheat like a mo-fo on weekends as well, i try to stick to my diet tho... i wake up that early because i have a full time internship i work at which is about a 45 minute drive away from home, so i need time to get home and do my ab workout, prepare all of my food for the day, eat, shower (occasionally), and leave. So, the schedule sucks, but you really get used to it. I almost don't mind not being able to keep my eyes open past 9:30-10:00ish...

ok i gotcha, apart from eating every hour, that looks ok. It will be alot easier on you only eating every 2 to three hours. Just eat a little more protein and carbs each sitting and you should be fine. Hmm the joys of internships, so thats what i have to look forward to in a year or so... im so ecstatic lol
