yearly how much progress do u think the pro bodybuilders make? i saw a pic of arnold from when he was young and another when he was significantly older but even after years of more training the only difference i see after really looking at it is that he's leaner and learned to pose more.

i mean i know that even 5lb. of LBM a year seems good to a pro but it just seems like once u've reached a point the progress just comes ridiculously slowly to the point where most gained by them is probably fat

It looks like his improvement is awesome, haha.

Probably does get pretty slow though.

Btw, look at his biceps. The peak in the 2nd one is beastly. And the leg separation is more evident in the 2nd as well.

the peak is only different because of how much more he's curling his arm. and the "seperation" is only from being leaner which could be done in a few weeks from the first pic. if u look at overall mass he doesnt look much bigger at all, just more contest ready.

The lats are the biggest difference for me, just look how they just flow down in the second one. His lower and outer chest also look a lot better to me as well. His traps are almost non existent in the first one, but im going to chalk that up to posing issues.

But for the most part I think your right, lower body fat and better posing. Little changes, but they add up.
