how much creatine can the body absorb in a day without it going to waste, or also how much creatine would you recommend taking daily?

I would stick with 5 grams/day. Also you will probably want to consume about 1/2 - 1 gallon of water a day.

As stated, 5g a day.. 10g maybe at max.. anymore and you may experience stomach discomfort.

5 grams is pretty much standard. How you get that.. 2.5 grams before the workout, 2.5 after.. all after.. all before..

Debatable and lots of discussion on that.

But too much, and your tummy will tell you. Plus, at a point you are just overloading. Go with 5g maybe 10g tops if you want to push it..

You'll see that 99% of sites, books, and directions on the product probably say 1 level 5g scoop a day.

heres what the question refers to:

I was thinking about taking a home-made cell-tech which includes 10 g of creatine, and also taking SAN V12 which includes 3 g of tricreatine per serving, which would equal about 16 g of creatine a day, if i use creatine monohydrate in the cell-tech and tricreatine in v12, would that make a difference, or would that still be too much creatine?

Pretty much the same things.

That's like taking a Cell-Tech Whey followed by Muscle Milk.

Protein.

16g a day.. too much. Maybe not for a loading phase for for everyday use? Seems high. You might get some tummy issues.

Plus, V12 is your creatine system. It has less in it because you "use more" of it since the transport is efficient.

I'd say.. no need to take both as it's the same thing.

alright thanks, lemme ask this then, which one would your recommend. My goals are to gain mass and increase strength over the summer, I'm really lean at this point and would like to keep my body fat the same, which would you recommend to do this the best?

Try V12. You might like it! I did.

Then just go back to regular creatine later.

Just don't do both at the same time. But try both and see how you feel. See how your body responds to each.
