Insulin appears to extremely important for after workouts because it does something with the Amino Acid which allows for greater muscle development.
i was wondering what type of foods increase Insulin?

Playing with the insulin response can be dangerous, because the pancreas is an organ that can be taxed into failure. That being said, any high glycemic carb will increase insulin production by the pancreas. High glycemic foods are foods carbs that digest quickly. These are simple sugars. The best kinds to use for athletic purposes are fructose based, or simply put FRUIT. A banana works great for pre and post workout energy and insulin production.
