how long for strength to come back

Ok everyone, as most of u know i went to worlds for powerlifting and took 2nd. Then since then I decided to lose weight to drop and look better then lift at a lighter weight class. I have reached a medium weight of what i want and ssince its been tough losing for awhile im gonna slow down and lift at 230 for awhile. But my question to u, is how long do you think it will take for me to get back to about 50 pounds lower then my strongest. Usually i can scout that out myself. But because im used to gaining weight well i get stronger, im not used to maintaining or losing at the same time as i try to regain. Im thinking that i should be pretty strong after about 8 weeks of solid strenth training and solid nutrition i should be close to what was at. Then after that about another 8 weeks to get stronger. But like i said it will be tough since i lost all that.

yeah but ironraider didnt retain much muscle as he lost his weight. i agree that 8 weeks of training will definately boost your strength back up, but dont know how much off your regular lifts it will be.
