high protein diets...

This is a serious question, so please take it seriously. How do you guys keep up a high protein diet such as 1 gram per pound of bodyweight per day and not be constipated? Whenever I up my intake to anywhere near what is recommended, it just slows my system down and I can't get my stuff moving. What do you usually take in as fiber in a high protein diet?

Milk based proteins can cause constipation, whey and casein. If these are what you usually use, you can try deating more tuna and poultry to get your protein. It is also not imperative that you eat that much protein, 1 g per lb, it is however important that you get the timing right. Protein in the morning and after workouts.

The same things I would take in during any diet. Oatmeal, whole wheat bread, brown rice, beans, vegetables, fruit.
