I feel like a beginner all over again, but I need idears. I am currently 187-188lb at 12% BF as of today. Should I A. Cut down to 178-179lb at 8% BF ready for summer, but smaller than ideal B. Continue clean bulking to 200-205lb at 12-14%BF and get closer to goals My short term goals are getting a lot stronger and adding serious size, but not being a fat fatty. I will do the texas method a little modified if I continue to bulk. Life goal is a 215-230lb at 6-8% and the strength training for the rest of time.

let me just say that if you cut to 8% youre not gonna be 178-179, along with that fat goes glycogen and water you will look aLOT smaller haha; prob in the low 160s imo, id say cut just cause its summer and its great to look good durin summer but im not all about bein huge and bodybuilder-like, just wanna be decently muscular, ripped to shreds, and really strong so youre probably different than me.

Achieving B would look much more impressive in the summer. Your goal is to get some serious size and strength and, B works directly towards that. I vote B. Go lift some monsterous weights.

i agree, at 12% bodyfat yuo have nothin to worry about as far as lookin good for summer goes, keep bulking.

Yea you would look horribly fat at 13% lol. Why not put on some more size, clean?

I will when I am shredded at 175. I just have never actually been below about 11% in my life, and the first 12 years or so I was always above 25%. I just want to be ripped once, and the bulk up to about 200.
