Well, we'd have to know a little more about your current condition (age, height, weight, body fat %, activity level, prior training experiece, goals, etc) to answer that concretely, but to give you a high level summary of bulking and cutting: - Bulking typically involves heavy, intense workouts with lots of compound, basic lifts and less emphasis on cardiovascular exercise (like jogging). You diet will center around a caloric surplus, and you'll spend pretty much every waking minute eating. The idea is to stimulate the greatest hormone release through heavy lifting and heavy eating, and you'll need more recovery time between workouts than you will while cutting.
- Cutting (or "Shredding") typically moves the emphasis to more frequent workouts with a greater focus on cardio mixed with moderate-intensity strength training. The idea here is to rely on strength training to retain muscle, while promoting fat loss with a diet centered around a slight caloric deficit.
That said, Most bulking programs involve working your entire body (however your break it up) at least once every four days, with minimal cardio. That could mean: Day 1 - Upper Body Day 2 - Legs & Abs Day 3 - off Day 4 - off Day 5 - Upper Body Day 6 - Legs & Abs Day 7 - off Day 8 - off (repeat) or, if you want to break it up even further: Day 1 - Chest, Triceps, Front Delts & Abs Day 2 - Legs Day 3 - Back, Biceps, Rear Delts Day 4 - off Day 5 - Chest, Triceps, Front Delts & Abs Day 6 - Legs Day 7 - Back, Biceps, Rear Delts Day 8 - off (repeat) Consequently, every muscle group gets worked once every four days. If you were going to include cardio (I dont' -my metabolism is out of control as it is, and I need every calorie I can get for bulking), you might consider including it on an off-day.

Yes, that's me in my avatar, and NO, I don't look like that today. That was taken back in Jan '07, and I lost most of that progress when I slacked off last year. I'm on my way back, tho, and I'm using that photo for inspiration.
