so 2 days ago was my first time at the gym in a long time and i guess i probably pushed my self a little too hard. i did biceps, tris, and chest got a great workout in and felt great after and of course sore the next day. today i woke up and i cant stragithen my arms all the way. the pain where my forarm meets bicep is killing me and im walking around with my arms bent should i strength it out slowly or let it be? the longer i keep my arms bent the harder and more painful it is to stragithen them out

hydrate, rest and you can stretch and do some light/body weight stuff to get the blood flowing. Dont skip a day in the gym though, your just going to prevent your body from adapting to the workload.

Aaaahhhh... The good old days Ramp it up slowly. Happens every time you come back from an extended absence. First two weeks I was back in the gym, I kept everything to 3 sets of 15 reps max and used no weight at all. just the bar. Gotta get your joints used to that sort of thing gradually. And by gradually, I don't mean months. Trust me, you will be past this stage in less than three weeks. Before too long, you're going to wish you could get that sore. The first two to three weeks back always sucks.

yeah, i would say you did a little too much. RICE Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. Wrap up your arms with ACE bandages and ice them a few times a day. Also warm up before you stretch, some light jogging will get the blood flowing then stretch light as stretching causes small tears in the muscles and doing it cold will cause some pain as these muscles are already hurt. You'll be better in a few days.
