You will continue to grow to about 21-22. You still could have a growth spurt during these years. when did you start lifting?

It all depends when it comes to growth as growth and puberty are different. I would say that at 14 you were old enough to not stunt your growth with bodybuilding. I wouldnt worry about it. Give yourself a few years and see what happens.

Usually only doing things like powerlifting will stunt your growth. Try asking your dad, and uncles on both sides of the family and grandparents when they had their growth spurts. YOu may find the next one is right around the corner. If you eat right and exericse regularly(duh, you obviously do) you will reach your max height.

i spend 20 secs each workout hanging off the pull up bar to stretch out my back and stomache. .... but i guess you could use it to grow as well. worth a try .

ORIGINAL: meat hed i spend 20 secs each workout hanging off the pull up bar to stretch out my back and stomache. .... but i guess you could use it to grow as well. worth a try . Old wives tale. doesnt make you any taller im afraid. Try asking your dad, and uncles on both sides of the family and grandparents when they had their growth spurts Thats correct. sometimes delayed growth spurts are just a hereditary thing. i got a friend who had a growth spurt just before he turned 18. he gained almost a foot in a year. hes now a BIG boy I was wonderin if lifting weights have stunted my growth Currently, theres no conclusive medical evidence to back that up. Some people say yes in theory, some say no in theory... but noones been able to back that up with solid proof either way. I wouldnt worry about it. Give yourself a few years and see what happens Spot on. You obviously havent got the tallest genetics. I say you go blame your parents.

How about going through cutting stage before your fully grown .. is that likely to stunt your growth? yeah i doubt lifting weights stunts your growth .. alot of guys who lift at my gym are pretty tall ...

Cutting is jsut lowering your bodies fat content. People overthink things, think basic, are you doing anything to your body that it wouldn't normally encounter?
