healthy favorites - Monday, December 12, 2005 4:55 PM ( #1 )
this is the post as promised in 8 minute abs..on the training forum.

my favorite quick meal: on sundays or mondays i cook up 3 chicken breasts. (bake) then i put them in the fridge in tupperwear bowls for use throughout the week..

get some egg beaters egg whites, 1 cup.
1 whole egg
1/2 chicken breast, chopped up.

mix it all together scramble it up..its a no brainer but i love it..just top off with hot sauce for flavor.

Ok I'm currently eating 6 small meals a day and the one I look forward to the most is meal #3 It consists of one 12 inch whole grain pancake, no oil in the batter, and about two ounces of my favorite yougurt to top it off.

Its great. The pancake by itself wasn't exactly what you would call "tasty" so I went with yougurt, and it is the coolest!

home made energy bars..post workout.

1 cup oats
5 tbs. peanutbutter
1/cup water
1/3 cup :cranberries, cocoanut flakes and sunflower seeds
1 tsp. vanilla
4 scoops chocolate whey powder.
1 cup fat free powdered milk

ok you mix everything except the water and peanut butter together, then add peanut butter, then the water.

the original recipie calls for 1 1/4 cups water but even one cup was too watery..so play with it a little.. but just mix it all up and spray a cooking pan with non stick spray and after it has a smooth doughy consistancy pour it in. refridgerate for 3-5 hours..

i used isopure but it wasn't that good..i think muscle milk would make it taste really good.

takes like 10 minutes.
