when i lower my upper body on decline crunch, i inhale, but for somereason i always end up running out of breath really fast.. i have no clue why and then i end up coughing a lot and when i lower my reverse leg raise i inhale when i crunch my legs to the chest but when my chest touches the legs, i cant seem to breathe at all... how should i fix this?

Reverse your breathing and see what that does for you. It may be the speed of you reps. Give yourself a second pause top and bottom.
