Powerbars are good for building lean body mass.....many other protein bars are good too..such as Lebrada, Nitro-Tech, Oh-Yeah. Bio- Protein...Detour...Rampage..theres many different types..and as far as boosting your workout i would recommend taking a small dosage of creatine and or a NO2/similar product...No2 will help increase nutrient intake into your body and thus increase gains in lean mass...will also greatly help with energy and bloodflow...look for any product with Arginine AAKG in it...as with both of these you always want to drink plenty of water...especially w/ creatine.

Are you kidding me? You are recommending NO precursors and creatine to a 15 year old female? quote:

diet is the only thing you can really safely and affectively change/tweak to help you build muscle.... you may want to look into something like met-rx lite protien powder.... thats just about as far as youd want to go.l

Yes I also agree with 40yarddash, johnny, mholly, etc. I don't think that taking NO based products and/or creatine is a good idea for these main reasons 1. Your only 15 years old 2. You are a female (nuthin wrong with that but females may respond to these supps extremely differently than males...Im not sure) 3. You have just recently decided to gain visible muscle, most likely meaning that you are a begginer at lifting, etc. I would not recommend creatine to anyone just starting. Better to get a good foundation first, then start adding supps as needed. For the above reasons, I would say no to creatine and NO products. The best things to do are: have a good diet, take a multi vitamin, and maybe add in a whey protein supp. thats it. Try this and in a few months evaluate what you've done, gains you've made (strength and physical wise), etc. Most likely you will notice results if you are serious about this.

LOL dan. Yeah, I would just figure out what your BMR and eat right and exercise for a while and worry about supps later. I made the mistake of being taken in by supp companies from day one and I really have no idea if any of this stuff works or not because I am just starting out (4 months in) and basically everything works for me.

Everybody desires a bit more definition then they already have(or dont have). I dont see why everyone's panties are in a bunch just because a female asked the question instead of a male.
