18 months
current diet : crap! mostly carbs! chips , pop   , sweets
desired body fat : 6% or less
desired weight :200lbs
supplements : just finishing up my first "cycle " of creatine mono , going to start another in a month or two , and use a weight gainer called MONSTER MAXx , havent taken it in about a month but going to start again.

possible stack : creatine mono , glutamine , multi vitamin  and monster maxx( wont start for a month or two until while i cycle off creatine for a month or two)

routine : monday :chest / tri
              tuesday :abs
             wednesday : back/ bi
              thursdays : legs
             friday:  shoulders / traps
( never changes the days and muscle groups ,  rep ranges stay between 8-10 and sets 3-4 but will start to change rep ranges and add super sets , negatives ,  partials , ect )
           saturday & sunday : off

problem areas : tummy flab ( not too much , im not a fat guy  i just look bulky ,  im not fat.. hahaha btu ya , alittle to much on the tummy  )  love handles and ass. i would like to shrink all , everything else is looking alright  except abs cuz the tummy fat , and i need shoulders to grow alot!

goals! : bigger , stronger more endurance! the dream of all men! ,  i wanna be 200lbs , solid 6% bodyfat or under

So all ive  heard and whats obvious is my diet , im not sure what foods good or not , ive even heard alott veggies are bad like carrots and corn , and im such a picky eater , ive also heard that pasta is good then i hear its bad .
so what kinda diet should i be going for , mostly protein , low carbs low fat!? and what foods should i stay away from that can be decieving?  which fruits or veggies are actually useless or counter productive? and pastas? even though i want mass gains should i ditch the gainer for regular protein powder cuz this has about 232g or carbs 1500 cals and 26 g of  fat per 2 shakes? dunno if thats bad  I REALLY REALLY WANT THESE LOVE HANDLES /ASS GONE!

SO WHERE DO I START! please help?... and cardio? i wanna do it for endurence but fear of losing mass and strength which would piss me off! , sooooooooo thanks for your help fellas!

There are a few rules that I follow nowadays when eating:
  1. If something you buy has ingredients that you can't pronounce, chances are that it's bad for your. (Remember that this isn't always true.... I can't think of any examples right now but I am sure there some)
  2. Eat slower. It really works.
  3. Learn to embrace water and to drink plenty of it.
  4. When you prepare your own food, not only does it seem to taste better, but it allows you to examine what is going into your body.
  5. Don't underestimate the power of fiber. It is really good for you and your digestive system.
  6. Fast food is poison, at least in my opinion. (To digress for a moment, I recently went to McDonalds the other day. It was my first time in almost 8 months of not eating their pathetic excuses for food. Knowing full well that I was about to consume swill, I order a double cheese burger for old times sake and lets just say that it didn't stay in my stomach for very long.
Overall, I think that you should also get acquianted with the amount of calories of the foods that you consume. Eat carbs early morning and less as you get ready to sleep. Sleep well and everything should fall into place. As for your losing mass, it will not be much if your training for endurance. You should try doing body weight exercises. I once read that that is the way Jason Statham trains and look at him, he's huge and cut. Plus, he has a lot more money than most of us, which does help. You can also do supersets or giant sets, something that I am a firm proponent of. You can still workout with moderately heavy weight but it will tax you in the endurace department.
I suggest you go all natural by not using supplements. Eating real foods I think, are just far superior. I've noticed within myself that my gains were better than when I was on creatine and various other muscle-building products. Not to mention that I feel more energized and my body functions are better than ever, including no more acne. I wish you the best of luck.

ok so how hard do i have to go with this thing , i wanna reduce bodyfat but not hate life doing it.  as i said my diet before consisted of like 4-6 cans of pop or ice tea a day  minimum , some water , not alotta protein and a**** load of carbs from like chips and stuff and alot of cheeseburgers  , ive cutt out the pop/ice tea , ive cut out the chips , i find myself always hungry when im eating healthy cuz the stuff doesnt seem to fill me up.  but whatever .  ok so like in the morning i have a bowl of froot loops , thats got like 11g of sugar per bowl , but i have a big bowl so i double it in estimation..... i mean is some sugary stuff like one bowl of this a day bad? and then at work i have like 2 chick breast sandwhichs and a bowl of soup ,    they feed us lunch and are out of water so the last 2 days ive had a 5alive , but i dunno if the 25g of sugar in it is added or natural...
natural is good right?

and how about steak? i had two so far this week? and i take a gainer shake? i also have cinnamon bagels (13g of sugar/bagel)  i just wanna know if this stuff is bad , if i ate it i wouldnt go overboard i mean if i have a bagel i may have one every other day , same witht he froot loops. i just wanna eat this stuff not throw it away , then get healthier stuff if this stuff is bad.

i wanna lose my love handles , i said i dont have tooo much bodyfat ... i would love to do cardio but fear of losing muscle mass!!!!! cuz i still wanna get bigger.

ive been proud of myself this past week for changing my diet but now am getting frustrated after reading this guys cutting diet , its like egg whites/grapefruit for breakfeast , a bowl of plain oatmeal for lunch and dinner and a protein shake as a snack , if i ate like that id kill myself. he said on his cheat day he has fruit juice and fruits and stuff , i thought cheat days were like cheeseburgers and chicken wings , his cheat days are like my good eating days that i struggle to have! advice please!

should i lose the gainer?  i mean i dont have to stop all carbs right?  i mean the froot loops the bread on the sandwhichs , potatoes at dinner isnt too much is it?...

will ditching the high sugar and junk good eventually cut  the fat away? cuz  thats literally all i ate and im seriously dont ahve much bodyfat ..  my friends say i look bulky not fat and can tell that i work out , hahah makes me feel good

First, read unholyephraim's post again....he was spot on.  There is absolutely no reason that you cannot enjoy life and eat well at the same time.  The healthiest foods are often the most delicious.  Give me a grilled delmonico, oven roasted red skinned potatoes and roasted asparagus ANY DAY over some crappy microwaved meal or a bag of foot smelling doritos.  All you have to do is eat what nature intended you to eat.  The only way you cannot enjoy life through food is if you jump on the fad diet bandwagon and go on some insane diet where you eat every meal out of a box with some celebrity on it or only eat cabbage for a year.  Don't fear saturated fat, or fat in general.   Eat whole eggs.  Eat butter.  Eat coconut oil.  Whole milk.  Fatty steaks.  Chicken skin.  The list goes on.  What nature DID NOT intend for us to eat was refined and rancid polyunsaturated vegetable oils (think corn, canola, safflower, soybean, etc.)  Most pre packaged foods or pre made foods are made with rancid vegetable oil.  Deep fried foods are almost always fried in these oils.  These oils produce an inflammatory response in the body (arachadonic acid cascade), and can lead to heart disease.  Did you know that canola oil and other types of vegetable oils are often treated before being sold so they don't smell aweful when you open the bottle?  They smell bad because the oil is heated during processing, turning the oil rancid.
As for the drink you described with the 25g of sugar.  Ditch it.  It doesn't matter if the sugar is "natural" or not.  High Fructose Corn Syrup can be dubbed "natural" if the manufactures want to.  Most juices are pasteurized (heated to very high temps to kill everything in the juice, including most vitamins and enzymes) to prolong shelf life.  Drinking juice is equivalent to drinking soda, with a small amount of vitamins (that are still bioavailable).  The only drink you need is water.  You can also enjoy coffee, unsweetened tea, and sometimes unheated/unpasteurized fresh squeezed juices.  If you must sweeten something, add stevia (google it).  Your cinnamon bagel is probably the equivalent to 6 pieces of white bread.  The nutrition has been stripped from the bagel.  It is essentially a doughnut.  If you eat bread, eat Ezekiel or any other sprouted grain bread (google it).  Can you pack your lunch for work?  If so, do it.  Eat whatever you want one or two days a week.  Try to plan it so it is when with friends or family.  Eventually that processed garbage that for some reason got the privilege to be called "food" will no longer be appealing to you.  As for filling you up, I find it hard to believe that normal food (i.e. "healthy" food, not fake food)  makes you hungry faster than processed garbage.  Normal food has less sugar, more fiber, and has more volume to it per calorie.  3 eggs, 2 slices of Ezekiel toast, sautee'd mushrooms and coffee will SURELY fill you up faster and for a longer duration than a sugary bowl of fruitloops that will make you hungry again in an hour.

If you are eating right and not overtraining, you will not lose muscle.  Try interval  or HIIT cardio.  Check out the westonaprice website in my signature, it changed my life in regards to health and nutrition, and challenges the current flawed paradigm of nutrition "science" in this country.
