you think 27 grams of carbs are bad boomer??

my normal bulking shake in the morning was over 90 grams of carbs.  55ish grams of protein.  minimal fat.

you NEED carbs in the morning... they are my friend

i'm not saying it's going to kill him.  but if you're cutting, to get so many carbs out of a glass that little is kind of counter productive, IMO.

if he's bulking, then it won't be bad for him. even if he's maintaining, it probably wont be bad. but if he'scutting, i'd say it's counter productive to have so many carbs in a little glass that big........again though, that's only my opinion.

and to the OP, i usually make a breakfast the night before, and depending on what it is, just put it in the fridge or something just in case i don't have enough time.

true. i get what you're saying.  the ratio of carbs to protein = crap. .. that is what you're saying right??

some people can handle more than 30 grams of carbs in the morning, even when cutting.  i'm getting 50 or 60 grams of carbs in the morning still during my cut.

just gotta know your body, and how it reacts to different things really...

nah. not really big... had some muscle on me. but for 6'1''... i weighed between 175 and 180.  i think i have a picture of me in college somewhere. lemme look

as far as my diet goes.. it's pretty laid back. i eat what i want to, but fairly clean.

here's some pictures from just about 5 years ago.  i think it may be closer to 6 actually.

the abs picture was about 6 months after the flexing shots during the winter.

no.. didn't play any sports.   well.. i did, but just for fun.  played volleyball, and basketball

Imo, its the sugar that's the problem. Insulin spike with little to no nutrional value. You should have some carbs in the morning to get you going. I'd recommend Oatmeal or Kashi cereal and then some egg whites for protein. Hard boil a bunch one night and then you can refrigerate them and eat them all week or whatever. Oatmeal or cereal doesn't take long at all to prepare and eat. Much better alternatives.

I love carbs, it's just about eating the right ones at the right time is all. I'm tired of hearing carbs are bad.
