i hate doing hang cleans, because i always do deadlifts before them and it pulls my callice down then the hang cleans squish it and it kills but oh well, its worth it

I'd buy some sort of wrist strap to hold up weights for shrugs or hang cleans or w/e. Then some wrist wraps for heavy benching or anything that causes straining on your wrists. Maybe some supports if you have bad knees or elbows or anything. I dunno it just depends on what u rearlly want to buy. I normally go to a weight room with just a belt and chalk. Powerlifting competition is another story though.

dont overuse wrist straps though....especially if you're just starting out. you may want to be able to lift more in the major lifts but you need to develop necessary grip strength too and if you rely on straps you may lack that development. so only use them once you have fatigued your forearms and can't hold the weight on your own anymore...good luck
