getting enough calories. - Sunday, September 30, 2007 3:06 PM ( #1 )
I am like many teens in that I don't have control over what I eat most of the time. My mother cooks my meals and ther's limited food at the school cafeteria. My main question is this. How can I eat clean and still get enough calories? becuse if I ate junk food I could make my amount of calories easy but If I wantto eat clean it's a lot harder to do.

haha same problem here so for me i just dont eat out much and i just eat the most healthy snacks i can.so you can either 1.just eat normal and you can get enough calories though not as healthy. or 2. get your mom to get lots of healthy foods and bring your lunch.how many calories a day do you eat [average]?and whats ur height/weight/age?
Goals by end of 2009:

Well right now I'm trying to lose weight so i'm takin about 1500 calories a day. I am 5'9 190 lbs. I guess I just have to try and find a balence where I can eat enough to still make good gains but not put on too much fat. as long as I don't put on a lot of fat it will make cutting easier. I'm going to really try and eat clean but get in about 2500 cals a day and see how it works.
