does your gym have hooks in the floor for the bands????  i talked to a worker at the gym today and he has tried so hard to get hooks in the floor and some bands for the gym.  he uses his own bands.  says theres no budget for bands or for chalk stands even LOL.

Kubs, get your bands at elitefts.com, those are the best and reasonably priced.  Keep in mind the price is for one band and not a set though.

As far as set up...the few times I've used bands at my gym I would find a beam on the bottom of either the squat rack or bench rack and I would feed the band under it and then loop it around a dumbbell so it wouldn't slide back out.  Here's a little diagram a drew to explain it better:

It's crappy I know but I hope it helps.
Bench- 315 Squat- 345 Dead-  515

Total- 1175

Or on hte bottom part of the squat rack you can put the band through and loop it through itself.  I am going to see how that works on teh racks at my gym.  And for the bench press I am going to hook them on the bar under the bench, it will reduce the tension vs having them straight down but it will still be beneficial.

You can always have the bands loop through a really heavy dumbell too so they hang straight down.  Some people use the mini's for bench and double them up so they are shorter and hang straight down.  I get my bands by monday so I will be expirementing next week.  There are also different ways you can loop it over your bar.

wrist wraps and my belt arrived today, excited to finally use them.  Going to use my bands for some speed bench tomorrow as well, really can't wait.  going to probably weight my dips with bands as well so that it is hardest at the top at lock out.

Your going to love them, my squat rack sucks so it makes racking it with the bands on really tough.  But it sure makes dynamic squats work a lot better.  That and you can reverse them and stack on massive weight.

I currently use some high basketball shoes. They work great IMO.  Nice and solid on the bottoms, support at the tops. Theyre flat footed cause they are lebrons, and lebron is flat footed. But I love em.
Bench: 70 Squat 135 Deadlift: 1??s
Supps: Creatine, Multi, Fish Oils
