Ok so I no that creatine mono is preferred by more ppl than CEE, but mono makes your muscles hold more water wieght then cee...I believe that this is also why when coming off of mono people seem too loose much of thier gains aside from the fact that your body will stop producing its own creatine naturally right? So if I were to take cee for a while then come off of it what kind of losses could I expect? I dont wanna bloat up with water then loose alot of what I worked so hard for.

first off your body doesnt create creatine, it is absorbed through your nutrition, albeit at very low amounts. As for gains losses, im not sure if i understand you correctly. Are you talking about strength gains or weight gains? Strength losses after stopping taking creatine will be small most likey in the 10 pound range. Weight change can be more but it really depends on how much water you retained among other things.

it wont be as drastic as you think, You might lose a little bit of strength and some water weight but if your making good progress then you will still have that. Its not like you take it and your automatically lifting crazy weight and putting on muscle and then it goes away once you stop taking it.

ORIGINAL: paulwall Ok so I no that creatine mono is preferred by more ppl than CEE, but mono makes your muscles hold more water wieght then cee... I don't think that's ever actually been established. People just say it's true, but there's no clinical evidence that it's the case. If CEE doesn't cause increased intramuscular water, that would be a sign that it wasn't working. quote:
I believe that this is also why when coming off of mono people seem too loose much of thier gains You don't lose your gains. You lose the extra water. quote:
aside from the fact that your body will stop producing its own creatine naturally right? Your body will reduce the amount of creatine it produces if you're getting lots from diet or supplementation, but it will return back to normal within a few weeks after supplementation stops (it takes a few weeks for the supplemental creatine to clear your system anyway). quote:
So if I were to take cee for a while then come off of it what kind of losses could I expect? You should expect to lose the few pounds of extra water. You won't lose actual gains. Your performance may decrease because creatine will enhance your performance somewhat while you're on it. The enhanced performance (and the extra water) are what allow the increased gains. quote:
I dont wanna bloat up with water then loose alot of what I worked so hard for. That's not how it works. The extra intramuscular water is part of how you get increased gains while on creatine.
