I weigh 125 lbs, mostly muscle, i max 160 for bench. Also im 15 and 5'4. I don't really have to gain weight right now but how do you people gain weight, i got a really fast metabolism and work out 4-5 days a week. I don't usually have a big appetite and usually eat 3-4 meals a day. I was just wondering some tips of gaining weight because if u gain weight u can get stronger. So i was just wondering what to eat and how and all, what do you young guys do?

You have to slowly get used to eating more. Slowly increase your calorie intake week by week and eventually you'll find yourself easily being able to eat more and you'll just find your more hungry in general....especially if you working out....

Also try to eat 6-7 meals a day instead of 3-4, you'll be able to eat more eating 7 small meals rather than 3-4. Also, high fat meals keep you full longer so keep an eye out for that....

Here's what I did when I started to change the way I ate- I used to eat only 2-3 times a day, and sometimes you couldn't really count what I ate as a meal. I started getting two heroes from the deli across the street from where I work, and I'd split each one in two- I'd eat half a hero as a meal, four times a day, and I'd have a protein shake after my workout. Before I knew it, my body was used to eating like that, and if I skipped one of those meals, I was starving. Over time, I replaced the sandwiches with healthier food, and upped my protein shakes to two or three a day, along with a healthy snack. Eating like this, I was able to put on twenty pounds in about six months or so.

I wouldn't worry about it... you will probably just start gaining weight easily when you're 17-20 or so

But if you wanna gain a few lbs, eat a diet with lots of carbs and protein. Get around 3000 calories per day, mind you they should be good calories. If you have time, try using fitday.com. It's really easy to use and it helps see all the nutrients you're getting.

I went from 124 lbs to 130lbs in only 2 months of working out and haveing a strict 2 protein shakes a day, milk, carbs, and vegetables.

EDIT: Ah ****, I just saw that you have a small appetite. If this is the case, around your regular 3-4 meals a day, eat maybe 3-4 small portion meals that are high in protein and/or around 300-400 calories or so. Stay away from fast food and burgers, although subway makes a good turkey wrap with 35 g of protein. :)
