The yolk is my favorite part no matter how the egg is cooked. dietary cholesterol isnt very related to the cholosterol stored in your body. when you take in more your body generally produces less and vice versa ORIGINAL: bigdannyg i'm glad this post came up,i was gonna throw this in very soon myself!i have been trying to gain on maintanance for almost a year,initially i lost weight because i was too heavy,then once i had a waistline and a bit of visual ab muscle i started lifting "proper",obviously like us all i got right into it and the need to get bigger became most important.....but i just spent a year getting slimmer....bulking!!!!i had a dilemna but i have stuck it out on maintanance,good diet and after nearly 12 months a good amount of size has been added,22 pounds of muscle,and my midsection intact!!!ha ha!so a slow process,it tests the patience quite often but it's a long term thing is it not?incidentally i was 70 pounds too heavy 2 years ago,and my waist is now 6 inches smaller......thats why the bulk scared me....fat loves me ha ha.rolling....if you wanna swap abs anytime......... if you gained 22lb. of muscle it wasnt a maintenance diet

yeah, i hardboil the whole egg, then peel the shell and break the egg white, remove the yolk, and throw down the whites. they're delicious besides that, the whole "the eggs have to be cooked" is just a wives tale to me

ORIGINAL: bigdannyg it was....i have. no you didnt. a maintenance diet means you ate exactly enough calories to maintain weight. so if you gained 22lb. of muscle you werent eating maintenance calories. even if you lost 22lb. of fat at the same time which i doubt it wouldnt have been maintenance calories because your energy expenditure would have raised significantly

well technically no one can ever be on a true maintenance diet, because theres just no way your going to get the perfect number of cals everyday. Maybe days he overate went to muscle and days he underate went to fat loss?

i know what you are saying david,i respect it to because its correct,but as you know theres an exception to every rule-due to the amount of weight i lost over a year(70 pound)it was like a massive cutting cycle,my nutritionist advised me that after this a maintanence calorie intake,knocking the cardio right down(i did a lot!),and with a good lifting programme i would make slight gains over a long period (ie 22 lbs over 10.5 months),this weight was designed to be good weight,which it is....waist size exactly the same,bicep 2" bigger,better muscle size and definition all round.i'm sure some guys have had trouble gaining on a bulk,and some struggle to lose on a cut.....people and bodies aren't necessarily gonna follow the rules!good luck to you all! p.s rolling....your last point is abso correct!
