Hi, ive been wondering, if i wanna be a serious body builder( following a program to make gains) do i have to follow a strict diet? cause i see alot of people have they're meal planned for the saturday next week.. i dont.

i personnaly just eat alot. have breakfast, eat alot untill dinner etc. usually when i wanna go and workout i eat alot what i think is healthy food (cheese, fruits as raisins ,mangos, apples) and also when i'm done working. can i do any gains that way? without mesuring how many % protein, carbs and fat i eat everyday? cause i'm pretty sure i dont have balanced % of protein carb and fat i need in the whole day, but i'm pretty sure i have the calories i need.

thanks for answers
