Dear Carl, I've been using Hydroxycut for sometime and it really gives a result. However, even if u start by 30 minutes 3 times a week, try to increase the time to 45 minutes and 4 times a week later on. You'll notice the progress much faster. Also you should watch out for your food program. Do not eat any carbohydrates after 6 pm. Try to limit your intake to proteins after that time. Eat carbohydrates before gym as you will be needing that energy to burn during your workout. Set a target of 500 calories to burn every training day. Personally, when i started gym my body Fat % was 18 %.... in 4 months of work out (5 times a week, 45 minutes of cardio, 45 minutes of weight training, plus good food program) my body fat percentage dropped dramatically to 8% now. You'll be motivated if you test your Fat percentage every 30 days and you'll be pushing harder everytime you see it dropping. Just watch out for your food intake especially after gym. Good Luck. Rayan.

I used to ephedrin based stuff a few years ago to stay awake during school. I lost some fat doing that but I am very afraid now to mess with anything that will alter my metabolizm other than working out and a good diet. I would rather do it naturally, however, green tea is good stuff.

IMO none of them work all that great, and they all speed the body up like its on crack which isn't the healthiest thing. I mean you might lose a little weight, but you have to feel like you drank way to many cups of coffee in the process which really isn't worth it to me. Just increase cardio and get stricter on your diet.

I started refering the Ephedra/Caffeine/Aspirin as "herba crank" to my friends. I only use it anymore when I go out dancing and want to stay up late.

In fairness, the Ephedra deaths they love to talk about happened in 155 cases over something like a 15 year period. Keep in mind that hundereds of thousands of people were using these supplements each of those years. Meanwhile each year there are something like 100,000 deaths from prescription drugs, and 40,000 of those are attibuted to NSAIDS: Aspirin, Advil, Aleve, etc. Yet most bodybuilds I know are popping NSAIDS like candy. So, while I am not a fan of "fat burner" supplements, I also dislike statistics that are presented in a misleading way to promote someone's political agenda. I suspect the ban may have had something to do with the new laws to keep people from getting enough Sudafed to make illegal drugs.

it's all about the dollars. Big drug companys just want to keep their stuff on the market with no competition. It's all about who's putting the money in the others back pocket if you know what i mean

This thread is fraught with extreme ignorance. The "fatburner" market for dietary supplements is broad and diverse, yet people are talking about the hundreds of products and hundreds of compounds on the market as though they are all the same.' This is tantamount to say: "medicine is bad", it may kill you. Well, what medicine? For what purpose? At what dosage? How about instead of crying chicken little (trust me, the sky is not falling), we all try to educate ourselves a little. There are some products/compounds that are stimulants, there are some that are not. There are some that are effective, there are some that are not. Phsiologicoly speaking, there are many ways to induce/increase fat loss. Such mechanisms include, but are not limited to, activing beta 2 receptors, PPAR-a, increasing satiety, speeding metabolism, improving insulin function, reducing cortisol, improving leptin signalling, and on and on. Here is a start: http://www.avantlabs.com/magmain.php?issueID=26&pageID=323

Actually if you will read the posts no one even brought up the the ephedra deaths as a negative side-effect or anything. Mostly the information against the fat burners was declared as "heart palpatations" and other things of that nature.

The supplements that I listed : Green Tea Pills $4-$5 Forskolin Pills $5-$10 Liquid Fish Oil $10-$20 Melting Point by Designer Supplements $40-$60 Beta 3 by Syntrax $30-$40 Hydroxycut Hardcore $40-$60 Do not contain any stimulants, except for hydroxycut hardcore. Hydroxycut hardcore contains caffiene which can cause jitterness. All others are 100 percent safe to take and contain no stimulants. The green tea does NOT contain caffiene, just green tea extract. D

I would try hydroxycut hardcore and see how it works for you. Make sure you follow directions about how much and when to take. If the hydroxycut doesn't work for you, you may want to look into Animal Cuts. Drink lots of water and take recommended amount and you should be fine.
