extreme tiredness

i was doin squats today i did 10 squats put the bar down and i felt extremely short of breath and extremely dizzy and tired. i had a breakfast and food before i worked out. does any one know what the cause of this could be

What was the weight like for you--near your max, or just a warm up? Was it your first set, or your 10th? Experienced at working out, or just (re)starting out?

the weight was my 10 rep max and i am pretty much experienced at working out
