to help urself burn more calories, u can make a few simple changes. 1. drink lots of CHILLED water. your body uses calories and energy heating this water back up to room temperature in your body 2. when doing cardio, wear a hoody or an extra item of clothing. again, ur body expends a lot of calories trying to keep ur bodys temperature constant, so by making urself warmer, ur body has to fight harder to keep you cool.

gmcdrum 1. drink lots of CHILLED water. your body uses calories and energy heating this water back up to room temperature in your body That's a good suggestion.

haha u guys do realize that this has been tested and the findings came to the conclusion that drinking about 12 ounces of very cold water would burn less then one calorie warming up the water its completely useless to drink cold water thinking it will help burn calories. ur bodys current heat is whats going to warm up the water. its not going to expend energy to warm up the water. come on u guys know better then this!!!!!!!!!!!

And the whole wear warm clothing during cardio and u will burn more fat thing is also a myth! u will sweat more wearing more clothing but this does not directly correlate to fat burning wearing warm clothes during a workout will increase ur external body temperature, thus causing u to sweat more. this is different then increasing ur internal body temperature which is what helps u loose weight. things like exercise will obviously raise ur internal body temp so basically wearing extra clothing will increase your external body temperature making u sweat more because ur body is trying to regulate ur body temperature and get it back to normal. this wont help u loose any real weight or fat, just water weight i guess from sweating so much another myth

Eating healthy carbs with breakfast in the morning helps, with me anyway, to reduce cravings throughout the day thus making it easier to keep your calorie intake down. I like Grits but Oatmeal would probably work just as well and has other health benefits as well.
