elbow joint i think..

Well I was doin my bicep curls Tuesday, and half way through i noticed a pain that got worse and worse as i went on. I wasnt able to finnish my last set because of my right elbow flared up in pain. Would it be that i bruised the join? pinched something? as of now i have a week off to recover which is good, but with no weight in my hand, I cant extend my arm all the way without some pain or retract my arm allthe way (like you might do to scratch your back ) Any ideas on a recovery length? should i ice it from time to time? I believe it was caused by letting a weight drop in my arm on accident.

I had the same exact problem. This was like proably 3 years ago and I still cannot extend my elbow. BUt the key is time. I took a few days of benching...then boom it was fine. I have enver had a problem with it since.

i had kind of the same problem, it ended up being a strained tricep tendon and will be going to physio for it in a couple of days

Not sure if i have the same problem but its an insane pain i get just above my elbow and connected kinda with my tricep. It feels like its inflamed and its the worst when i do things that bend my elbow especially pullups always sets it off. Ive had the pain a few times ever since i fell on my elbow playing football couple years back. I've seen a doctor and i was supposed to get x-rays but the pain always gos away and i never get em done. It happened again today first time in a few months and it got so bad i had to go into the bathroom at the gym and literally scream the pain got so bad. Im heating it right now and gonna ice it but its already feelin better. Im gonna take the weekend off even though i really dont want to. I'll see how it feels after that.
