Other than a whey supp. and a multivitamin, I dont use any other supps. I use to just use gnc, and after discovering how expensive they are I no longer shop there. then I read many post about body fortress(walmart brand) and tried that for the last 3 months. Well Im going to stop using that. I maintained roughly the same diet, with additional cardio and still managed to gain 15 lbs. Strength went up, however bf did significantly. I purchased dymatize whey protein isolate yesterday at vitamin shoppe. Looking for basic whey, to weight gain, etc...and he stated that for the price and the quality the dymatize 100% whey isolate would work. anyone with opinions on this brand. He stated the isolate is better for you? is this true and if so can someone explain why

Did you stop using the WalMart stuff because you felt it caused you to gain weight?

I use the 12 hour elite stuff before going to bed - Only been using it a week but seems ok.

Isolate may be better for you in terms of fat and carb to protein ratios but that is about it. I tried Ultimate Nurtition Isosensation that I found at a gnc having a going out of business sell and it was still well in date. I tried it a few times and ended up throwing it out because it messed my stomach up something fierce! Could just be me though.
