dunno what to do first - Wednesday, June 10, 2009 6:03 AM ( #1 )
okay so I have never really followed a set workout regimen...I occasionally lift but never really serious. I'm 16 and want to start lifting for real. When I was younger I was really chubby and I slimmed out as I got taller. I'm 5' 9" and 160 pounds right now...I don't know if i should try to cut down to get rid of all the flab around my midsection or if i should start a bulking cycle right away. The one problem with me cutting is that cardio will be very hard for me since I recently tore my acl playing baseball and cardio will be very tough for me to do. Any ideas? Thanks all.

Well dude lots of lower body excersizes tend to put pressure on your acl. Why dont you treat your injury and then come back to lift weights?

and if you want to cut first you can do cardio by swimming cuz it ideal for such situations.
