downsizing the booty

lol I couldn't think of any other title to get peoples attention. Here's my issue: I'm currently doing starting strength before switching to mad cows 5x5, n then max-OT. My intention is to bulk again in the latter phase of mad cows and carry the calorie surplus through max-OT training. But for the time being I'm working on cutting some BF around my adbomen and ASS, which has taken on the role of Booty (the thing sticks out when I walk), before bulking again so I've been doing HIIT and cutting out the carbs increasing the fats n all that jazz. Getting to the point, my question is what exercises can I do to shed some flab from my rump? and would doing a thermogenic short term be worth it since my BF is probobly around 20%?

You can't spot reduce fat. If your posterior is large in proportion to the rest of you, then it's likely it always will be. All you can do is lower your bodyfat as you would otherwise. Also I'd avoid a thermogenic, a lot of people have a problem sticking to the plan of using them 'short term' and it becomes a long term habit - they're addictive.

Unfortunately, there is little you can do to target fat loss specifically to your booty. If it started getting out of control during a bulk, it's because that's where your body was genetically predisposed to deposit fat first. Consequently, it will also be where it abates last First in, last out, if you will.
