Ive been taking Leucine for awhile now. I know leucine is suposed to prevent protein break down and promote protein synstheis (dont know exact spelling). Which means you wouldn't have to consume as much protein per day verse placebo. Does anyone know how much protein intake could be knocked off a diet and still keep the same effects as if you were taking the prior amount before taking leucine? I've havent been able to find any studies about this topic. If anyone knows or has any idea that'd be great.
