Yea, I always squat barefoot.  Adds 5-10 lbs.

Let's put it this way...

Barefoot or shoes?  Who cares... it won't make a real world bit of difference in muscle gain/fat loss which is the only goal to me or you.

So if you are comfortable doing it and it's your preference.. go for it.  Sounds like you prefer it so for you.. done deal.  I won't argue that as it's pointless like aruging what color is the best.

Interesting question nonetheless Johnb.

It will if u can add an extra 50lbs or so to the bar!!

Yeah, and alot of people, most people i know who squat, do it for strength, not size.

I cant even imagine doing a leg routine for size.  Just wouldnt be worth tha many times Ive felt like puking in the gym so i could "add some inches to my quads" haha.

you have never felt like puking before in the gym???

I have "felt" like it, but never "done" it.  Wouldn't the other people in the gym think that was a little extreme?  Or does it just happen?  Since I'm bulking, there's always a load of stuff in there:  That would just be gross.  :(
