days to wait - Monday, February 09, 2009 9:46 PM ( #1 )

How many days should I wait before I workout again? I worked out last night and today, all my upper are sore.

Thanks!

Depends, 1-4 days depending on how hard you've worked it i'd say. Some people might say up to 7 days, but there smoking pot..I would only have 1 day rest inbetween on my old routine..
Goals by end of 2009:
Bench 205

Thanks connelly. I worked out my upper body this morning. Last workout was Feb 8 evening.

Oh, about the whey I take after every workout, am I correct that it should only be taken after work out and not as a regular drink?

You should definitly have it after workouts, but it isn't excluded to that, I have whey in the mornings sometimes, just try not to make whey replace a meal.

I've been thinking for a few days now if the whey I put is enough. There is a deep plastic spoon that came with the Whey powder I bought. I weigh 147 lbs right now. How will we know if one spoon is enough?

Thanks.

I don't recommend more than 2 whey shakes a day, unless you have a real strong tolerance for milk products.

It will work, or I'm done dieting.

Hi pastor,

I would like to have a body as close to Uriah Faber or GSP. I like Uriah's better.

I don't have any problems drinking milk twice or 3 times  a day. But where I was worried is drinking whey 2x a day. So are you saying that if I don't have problems drinking milk, taking whey drink twice is fine?

Just saying that too much dairy sends some people to the bathroom for a liquid fire rocket. Whey isn't supposed to be a meal replacement, use it as a post workout and eat real food maybe an hour after the shake.

I have been guilty of using whey as a drink but it should be used when you don't have time for a full meal or its after a workout. IIRC, whey jumps into the body very fast and that is why you should use it around activity.

oh, that means, I'm not working hard enough. I usually work only for 1 hour.

How do I get the percentage of my body fat? Can I use our regular weighing scale?

5'6"
147 lbs
diet - I think I'm bad at this. I just eat whatever I see at home. :D
I hate the fats in my upper and lower abs. I really hate it. It's not obvious but I think it's .5 to .75 inch think.
So looks like if I do it religiously for 6 months, I might be able to reach that goal. :)

Thanks Pastor! ;)
