I've been on a low carb diet for years, but i've just recently been eating carbs before and after workout .. I'm going to introduce more as time goes on, but i'd like for you guys to see my diet and tell me what you think.. i'm 6'3'-240 lbs and trying to lose bodyfat. I do hitt's training 3 days a week (non lifting days), lift 3 days week.
1.5 hours before workout meal-3/4 cup of brown rice, 4 egg whites, i whole egg
supplements-gnc multivitamin (2), fish oil pill, eca stack
30 minutes before workout whey protein shake/ 5 grams of L-glutamine
10g flaxoil
post workout meal whey protein shake/ 5 grams L-glutamine
2 tsp honey
1 hour later boneless skinless chicken breast/orange roughy
2 cups broccoli
10g flax oil
eca stack
evening can of tuna
nuts
bed either non whey protein shake or low fat cottage cheese
I'm working my way into eating more complex carbs on my hour after workout meal, but i'm taking it slow because of my lack of carb intake I've had for years.
