cutting? - Thursday, May 22, 2008 11:54 PM
just wanted to know some general things for when i decide to cut , ive been bulking a year , gained both fat and muscle.

* how much should u bulk over your target weight . so that you reach it when u cut?

for example , i am now about 175-180lbs  5'11-6"  and  i dunno my body fat but it cant be too high.  i mean i have little bit of a gutt , some love handles but nothing major and after a year i cant finally see the muscle coming through.. anyway i wanna be like 195lbs  cut , and i heard you have to be like under 10% bf to be cut , . so what would i want to bulk to to achieve a cut 195?  like 215?

also , when i cutt , ive decided to do the HIIT program.. how often do i do it ? like 2-3 times  week? and i continue with my regular lifting?...

and last but not least , should i switch it up to higher reps ,  cuz ive read high reps are for toning so it makes sense :S
i tend to ramble and sometimes my rambling makes it difficult to get across what im asking

so correct me if im wrong

* i should aim for about 20lbs over my target weight before cutting?
i should change my diet from 500 calories over maitinence to 500 below making it 1000 cal difference?

should use higher reps and cut rest times between sets in half to promote toning?
