critiques and advice - Wednesday, February 04, 2009 1:38 PM ( #1 )

well i've been lifting off and on for a couple years now. i've read arnold's boybuilding encyclopedia and followed some of his routines for awhile but the last 3 months i've been pretty unmotivated and confused what i should do. i've when up from 180ish to now just above 200lbs but i'm not sure what i should work on. i know my abs aren't my strongest area compared to alot of the guys on here. i don't have access to equipment for legs so i'm really only doing some DB lunges and stiffleg deadlifts...

Dude, I seriously think it's time for you to cut! Your pretty huge, drop the bf a little more and you'll look even bigger! Maybe you could bulk up a little after your cut but in my opinion you'd look devastating if you just cut up from where your at!

If your unmotivated take a week off, devise a new routine and jump right back in!

For legs, get yourself a squat rack, that's what I do.. BD-3 _Squat_Stands.jpg I work out at home I've got a pair of these. Very inexpensive and your for life..Or until you upgrade!

I don't think his body fat is that high. wouldn't take long to get really cut up, good muscularity.

ya i think i'm going to add some more cardio to my routine. i think i'll add side bridges and hanging knee raises but i don't know if that will actually build muscle. i've seen a variation of a front squat that targets the abs but don't know the name of the exercise so i cant find any videos for it on youtube.

Dude forget about hydroxycut, just do your cardio, clean up the diet and drop some cals..With the amount of muscle you have the fat should fall off! Also no need to work your abs directly, maybe the bridges would be good... I'd think your abs get enough work from the lifting you do for each body part, you just need to reveal them by lowering overall fat!
