critique workout - Friday, July 18, 2008 11:24 PM ( #1 )
i have a few questions :)
firstly
i workout abs every 2-3 days, usually after working out a muscle group, i usually don't workout abs because i want to down my shake as soon as i can. and i work my abs later on in the day... is this okay?


this is what i was doing for back before
deadlifts          4 sets
barbell rows      3 sets
sometimes lat pulldown   3 sets
pullups  3 sets


i wanted to change it for a month and see how it goes so ive changed it to
pullups 3 sets
row machine  3 sets
barbell row 3 sets
lat pulldown 3 sets
back extension 4 sets

im kind of confused wether to put pullups first or last?


im currently cutting and i really want to lose lower back fat

I wouldn't do pullups last because you really wanna put alot of strength into them. And why'd you take out deadlifts?

Do this:

Deadlifts x 4
Pullups x 3
Pulldown x 3
Row Machine x 3
Bar Rows x 3

Your first back day looked good to me. Definitely better than the 2nd

If you want, you can try:

Pullups 3x8, 3x6, or 3x8, whichever. 3 sets of weighted pullups is good
Deadlifts 5x5 (or 3x5 if you think your form is gonna be worse. I always do 5x5 on DL. You can also put this first if you want, but you can rest your biceps up for rows if you put pullups first)
Bentover BB Rows 4x8

And about the fat, just run it off and eat well :o

your old back day looked better but if you want to change it up just keep dead's and row's in there and then add some other stuff.
Goals by end of 2009:
Bench 205
Squat 255 ATG
Squat Clean 185

hmm i dont know ive always been doing deadlifts and i wanted to really change up the back workoutt and go a month or two without see how things are going...... so far its pretty good, seeing some strength gains and im cutting
