^that brings up a good question..I know monhydrate needs a transport to get into your muscles which is why cell tech has so much sugar and stuff, what about CEE can it go directly into the muscle?

phersan - The AST product is actually one of the reviews in the sample review PDF on Everything-Creatine.  If you go there, look on the left menu for FREE reports.  It's a quick free download.  And AST's product is reviewed.

rob1- Every good creatine needs a transport.  CEE is just a better absorption but even CEE is packaged with a transport.  Monohydrate can be taken with just water right?  But that's where you see the 'home made' creatine transports and V12, CellTech... the rest of them.

Creatine in general (CEE or monohydrate) does better with a transport.  More of it gets absorbed.

With prices going down, you'll see products like V12 for $~30 that are a CEE product AND it's a transport so there's no need to mix it with anything.  Taurine helps get creatine into the blood faster too.

Old days, I would make my own.

Now, I'd just buy a transport and skip having sugar stockpile in my house.

Because I cycle creatine anyway, all I really want is 8 weeks.  V12 lasts 8 weeks for me no problems.  So I only need to spend $~30 every couple of months and I get an all inclusive product.

Better deal... for me.

Yes, taking it with some dextrose would work much better, thats what I do when I throw the creatine in my post workout shake. Also it's not proven CEE has a better absoption rate that mono, it's just a marketing scam to get people to buy a more expensive creatine, especially when you can take your creatine with dextrose which will spike your insulin levels and your muscles will absorbe the creatine mono or not.

CEE is no marketing scam as far as if it's real.

I've not received proper permission from the author to post this on my site so I'll just link to it here.

Is Creatine Ethyl Ester real?

Yes it's real.  Scientifically proven to be real.

There's no doubts there's marketing involved in any of these products, I'll give you that.

Well from what I've heard mono has about 90% absorbtion rate, if you take that with some dex then you should be absorbing most of the creatine, there for CEE can't be that much better.

You've chosen to ignore the studies based on hearsey though. I've never heard of mono having that kind of absorbtion rate?
