yeah but like i said monohydrate may be old school but ethel ester doesn't have the same research and studies to back it up..like monohydrate does.

I'm sorry but monohydrate is less efficient regardless of your comments. Thats like saying the bikes been around longer than the car and there isn't as much research to prove the car is better (I'm exagerating of course)

"if it aint broke, dont fix it" bodybuilders and atheletes have been usin creatine monohydrate for decades, its proven to work, Ive takin monohydrate and its worked for me as well, I just can't find a legetimate reason why to switch, maybe I am just hard headed and old school, but for now I will stick with momohydrate.

How is it less efficient and whats the difference? Mainly that CEE has a higher absorption rate. Meaning it's still creatine, but if you ingest 20g of regular creatine monohydrate, a lot of that is lost in the stomach lining. So you really only get 3g or something (throwing out numbers here). CEE has a 40-60% better absorption rate so you take less because more of it gets into your system. What Creatine Ethyl Ester HCI? Creatine Ethyl Ester HCl is an exceptionally soluble creatine resulting in advanced absorption, increased bioavailability, and stability. Creatine ethyl ester directly penetrates the muscle cell resulting in 30 to 40 times more functional creatine. Source: Everything-Creatine.com *Good question as well. I will see if I can dig up something that really nails this subject head on*

Marc, I'm assuming you have some personal experiences with CEE... what are YOUR thoughts of CEE vs. micro mono/regular mono?

I'm taking BSN's Cellmass right now which is a CEE. Before that, I was taking V12 which was CEE. Before that I was always a monohydrate guy. I personally respond to creatine period. So I notice the effects. I never experienced anything I would call bloating when I took the powder form. CEE is supposed to help reduce or eliminate that (I guess it would if you indeed experienced it before). So really, both worked for me. Period. I don't notice anything different between the two. But according the science, and creatine does have a lot of valid research behind it, CEE is a better absorbing type so you end up taking less overall. That's why you'll see monohydrate brands telling you to take 20g a day and you'll see V12, Cellmass and others are like 5g. Absorption From what I know so far, you just take less of CEE to get the full effect. If you take more of the powder, you still end up getting the full 5g or so right? And as long as you respond to creatine, you will get the benefits. CEE is still creatine. My point is.. If you take 20g of the powder and your body gets 3g out of that... or you take 5g of CEE and get 3g.. The end result is that you just ended up taking less and getting the same results. I've not seen one review yet that I would belive where a person on CEE was getting better results then monohydrate. The only cause for that would be if the monohydrate user was not getting enough to give s/he a full effect.

I have used the mono I get all bloated and I can feel the creatine work, but it's nothing out of this world, I don't mind it besides the fact I get bloated and the loading phase is kinda silly too, taking like 20 grams a day of Creatine for like 4-5 days, then have to maintain with 5 grams I just don't like it. I tried the Ethyl Ester Creatine and was like wow, I bought my first Ethyl Ester it is Six Stars brand CEE pill form, I took them and was really impressed I could feel the difference in them, no bloating and feel the effects 5 times better than mono with no loading and taking them as I need them. These suckers work well...I ran out of the Six Star and thought id try the Muscle Tech CEE Pro and I gotta say been taking these for the last 4 days and I like them ever a little better than the Six Star brand, the Muscle Tech CEE PRo's really are awesome.

Sorry but i still cant get this straight. Should someone on CEE for example Cee-pro by muscle tech, take it 30 to 45 mins befor workout? Or should it be taken after workout. Cause i want something that will help me push out some extra reps while workin out.

It says on Directions... On my Muscle Tech CEE Pro And Six Star CEE take it says take 2 pills (One Serving 2.0 grams CEE Creatine) and after workout take 2 pills again so a total of 4.0 Grams 2 before and 2 after workout. Take the first set of pills 45 minutes before workout and take the other set within 25 mins after workout how I do it it works great. If you need the CEE like now, hit your local Wal-mart go to the supplement side of the store and get the Six Star CEE Pills 60 for $19.99 or order yourself some Muscle tech-CEE Pro for $35 or hit your local Vitamin World Health shop. Bot Six Stars and CEE PRO are excellent products. I like the CEE Pro a little more pills at 180 :)

anyone tried the cee caps by anabolic pro-line? I found them to be the cheapest caps at 16 bucks for 240. It says it has 3 grams of cee in 4 caps and your supposed to take 4 before and after your workout which would last you a month. I thought if it worked like others, for 16 bucks it seems to be a hella deal.

This question is up for grabs by anyone who would know the answer, maybe Marc can hook me up. Let's say I were to take a pure CEE HCl with gatorade, or sugar free koolaid, or grape juice or something... how would that compare to taking something with a mono transport system like CellTech? or even a CEE transport like V12 or CellMass? Currently I take a "High Performance Creatine" by Precision Engineered that I got from Vitamin World. It's got 5.25g of creatine monohydrate, 35g of carbs, fruit punch flavoring, 1g Taurine, and some other stuff like Phosphorus, Potassium, and Magnesium. It was pretty cheap too... 23.99 for 52 servings. It seems to be working just fine... but if I can take less of a product and get the same results, it seems like the better deal to me. I was thinking about giving AST's Micronized Creatine Monohydrate HSC a try when I run out of this stuff... or go ahead and get a pure CEE powder and mix it with some carbs at home (dextrose or juice or gatorade or koolaid)... I seem to respond to creatine well and I was looking to try CEE for myself, would mixing it with a drink at home give me close to the same results as I already get. Theoretically of course... I know everyone reacts differently to supplements, and if it doesn't work out, I ain't gonna blame anyone but myself, so just a question... no pressure.
