coming back from a broken clavicle - Tuesday, November 28, 2006 3:01 PM
In the begining of september i broke my collar bone completely in half during a football scrimage.. it finally feels like i can start lifting again.

what type of reps/weight should i start off doing in order to re-gain all the strength i had before the injury?

You should seek advice from your doctor before going back to any weight training. If he gives you the green light, start with weights that you feel comfortable with and then make your way up slowly. Just don't push yourself!

My brother did the same thing when he played football. Just do as the Doctor recommends, start in light and make sure to communicate with a medical professional if you feel any odd pains.

Hopefully by now you are well on your way back.
If you can bench press more than you can squat you should be ashamed.
