Maybe once a week, honestly if your bulking, I wouldn't worry about it to much.

Connelly has a good idea. I cheat once a week, on Friday night.. I go out and get a good dinner. When cutting, I'm a bit more strict on what I eat on that day and when bulking I don't worry about it much. A couple cheats a week won't hurt you if you're bulking, it all depends on how serious you are. Don't worry about it!

If you stop cheating your cravings and sweet tooth will go away. If you eat clean all the time, you will soon find that you enjoy your clean meals and you will look forward to them. Never cheat.

Cold turkey is the best way. Unless your express bulking plan/diet allows you to cheat (Alot of people have one day of high carb/fat intake a week), cheating will only cheat yourself. Thinking you can't quit is for the weak. I like to think bodybuilders aren't weak though, lol

I think when you are bulking you can cheat a bit, but honestly if you are seriously cutting eating something that is going to go to your fat cells fast is a bad idea and will just slow you down. And if you have to cheat a little when cutting, I would do it after a workout when your body could metabolize it.

ss396 whats the most often someone should have a cheat day , i cant seem to go more then 3 days before i crack i know it needs to be m ore like a month ,,... but i got a bad sweet tooth , im still bulking , not cutting till april/may... but would like to pack on cleaner mass... so for now... whats the most i can cheat , once a month , once every two months? Everyone has different tastes.... if you truely enjoy healthy eating then I would say some of the suggestions you've had are good. Just stay away from cheating.. but, if you enjoy having bad food on occation then I can tell you from my experience that having one cheat meal a week isn't going to wreck your progress. I do a fairly clean bulk about 9-10 months out of the year and then when I cut, I elimate all junk and rid my body of fat as fast as possible by doing tabata, circuit training and a very limited clean diet. but my goal is not to have a BF % of 7 either so if that's your goal, I would suggest taking the advice of RollingStone... and he is correct when he says, the cravings for bad food will eventually go away.. but if you live in a household where clean eating isn't a priority, it can certainly be challenging at times.. bottom line, Eat smart 90% of the time and don't torture yourself and you should be fine.
There is never enough time to do everything, but there is always enough time to do the most important thing

Never cheat. I agree fully, I don't have a sweet tooth at all anymore. Maybe for some fruit..My diet's probably not as good as yours stone, but I eat clean all of the time!

MoNey ShOt once a week. dont let weights control your entire life its not letting weights control your life. Its more common sense. honestly youre only making it harder on yourself. Why cheat for maybe 10 minutes of enjoyment and then have to suffer cravings for tha rest of tha week. Its not a good tradeoff at all.

On a bulk, I don't think one should stress cheating too much. Yes, cheating on a bulk means you might not get such clean muscle but I would not worry too much about those two oatmeal cookies. On a cut, I think one should hold out as long as possible. I overhauled my diet and training recently and since I started eating a much more varied, possibly cleaner diet, I find I don't have much craving for sweats. To me, a full plate of food feels like a cheat anyway since I pick superb foods that I like. Mmm... Almonds... pistashios... blueberries... lemon pepper eggs... I crave pistashios and blueberries... but I got my calories for the day and now I need to sleep...

If I cheat once a week or start back on the crappy foods for a ''one off' dose'' I know by nature of habit they will become a consistent part of my diet again, therefore I avoid them completely.

have you tried the accupuncture tapping technique to help subside cravings, its miraculous. ill find a link and post it, but basically you have to think about the food you crave the most (maybe sugar) and tap away at certain accupuncture points, and the craving goes away. anyway, i cheat on saturday nights, every saturday night, because i feel there needs to be a balance between working out and a social life. because ive always done this on a saturday (or friday if there is a birthday event or something like that) i feel absolutely no guilt, as it is part of my routine.
