I'd like to bench 500 by the end of next summer. I gotta change my bench form a lot. I now touch and bounce and my shoulder kick out. I'd like to go down with elbows in and keep them that way and touch with a pause every rep.

maxed out on monday at 160. i know i am weak. funny thing though, last time i maxed out a month and a half ago i maxed out with 120. i workout with a machine by the way, but i went to a friends house and we did maxes with ol fashioned bar and bench, since we had each other for spotters, and i ended up doing a 2 rep max with 160 and that was just the weight. dont know how much the bar weighed so i wont add it. i still cant figure that one out.

jerics that is prety damn bad ass weight for your size, when I lean out this summer I should be at 210-215 and I want to be pressing 315 in set, with the progress I have been making I should be there. I have been adding 20 lbs to my workout weight about every 4wks

Yea, I usually like to warm up with 20 or 30 reps at 500 lbs. I'll max it at around 800. I'm still incredibly weak, but I'm getting there.
