Im just asking whats more important for getting bigger faster.
I mean u still get muscles if u work out and u can convert those calories into muscle right?
All i want to do is get big so can anyone tell me.
ooops, I forgot to say, & is it still possible to build muscle without protein but eating alot of calories,
or the other way around protein & not going over with calories?

To build muscle you need alot of Protein and the good amount of calorie ... i explain ... you need between 1 and 1.5g of protein by pound of weight and you need Carbs to have energy on the Gym .... For my point of view, i split my calories intake like this:

50% of Calories in Prot
35% of Calories in Carbs
15% of Calories in Fat

1g Prot = 4 Cal
1g Carbs = 4 Cal
1g Fat = 9 Cal

So if you eat 6 meals by day (1 every 3 hours) with 25-35g of Protein (Between 150 and 210 pounds) by Meals. Good Carbs (Vegetable, Fruits, Rice) and a little bite of fat .... you can obtain good results ....
