If you read BTFFTM, you'll understand that your question is the wrong question. Weight alone is a deceptive guage of fitness. It might be closer to ask how much "body fat" you lost and how much "lean mass" you gained. I found the book very motivating and easy to follow, and felt like I had a great strategy to change my life from the inside out once I finished. I lowered my body fat percentage by 5% in the first month.
