so ive been eating expired bread (for the last 4 days) and just noticed it today. when i checked the rest of the bread i saw a little piece of mold on it. i know its not healthy to eat it but my question is what happens when you eat mold? does the caloric value change? just curious. i messed up big time hope i dont get diarrhea tomorrow or anything.

Bread mold can cause infections in people with respiratory problems or weakened immune systems. But, if you're a healthy individual I wouldn't worry about it.
"But a true champion, face to face with his darkest hour, will do whatever it takes to rise above. A man fights, and fights, and then fights some more. Because surrender is death, and death is for pussies."

yeah i mean, i believe there's only two types of mold that grow on bread, one of them being a strain of penicillin so i say you'll be just fine. and if you didn't notice it right away then i highly doubt it's a substantial amount you ate.
