hi, im 14 been training since new year, 3 times a week 35-50 minute sessions i have problems with diet because i dont have much money and the food in my cupboards is ok but not great, what foods are essential and how many meals should i have a day? also how much? i was also wondering if i should be taking supplements, i'm intending to buy some multi-vitamin and not sure about protein shakes, also i train after school so is there any quick snacks i could take with me to eat before i train? just looking or general advice especially what i should be eating after workouts thanks

i've read this before but it doesn't really go into enough. i eat pasta at school and sandwiches, i'd rather someone go into more detail about it, how much i should be consuming and how often also i'd really like to know if i should take supplements i was thinking about getting a protein and carbs 1 and having once in morning and once around 6 , dont wanna sound like an idiot here but just trying to find info.

yea id go with just a whey protein and a basic multivitamin. keep doin wat u r doin. ur diet is more important than supplements though. u should be eating at least somthing every 3-4 hours. u can take a protein shake to school or somthing and that would do but eat alot and get lots of protein.
