I just bought some creatine mono from gnc. I know it's not the best creatine, but I didn't have very much money w/ me. and it doesn't say when to take it on workout days so I was wondering when would be the best time to take it on workout days. right now I am just mixing it w/ apple juice 1 hr. before workout. is that ok? I know this has probably been asked before and I culd use the search button, but 80% of the topics here have to do w/ creatine so it would take me a while to find. thanks for the help

ORIGINAL: 40 yard dash 2 45 minutes to an hour pre-workout is fine. Take another serving immediately post workout too. each serving of the stuff I have is 5g, isn't 10g a day too much? should i just take half before half after?

creatine monohydrate may have to be taken earlier before a workout in order for ur body to digest it, i heard from a guy in the gym a while ago talkn about creatine mono and he said that for some ppl it could take up to 3 to 5 hours for ur body to digest it and get the full effect of it, of course the new expensive stuff is said to work faster but all people are different and for some ppl 45 mins to an hour before workn out could be fine, for others a few hours prior may be needed
